Most stroke survivors have the goal of returning to living independently. However, even with the support of family caregivers, recovery can be challenging. That’s why our multidisciplinary team and stroke physiotherapists work collaboratively to develop a comprehensive treatment plan that includes a range of medical services and dietary modifications to aid in a speedy recovery and a return to independent life for stroke survivors. The right support at home can make rehabilitation easier and faster.

Our expert rehabilitation professionals believe that carefully directed, well-focused, repetitive practice is the most significant key to successful recovery. So, we provide a routine exercise plan, medication reminder, encouragement, and supervision to assist the patient in adhering to the strategy. Our caregivers assist clients with walking, bathing, grooming, clothing, toileting, and other personal care activities that they cannot perform on their own. We also use assistive devices, such as braces or wheelchairs, to substitute for lost function in patients until their condition improves. Sometimes, loneliness and inactivity worsen post-stroke depression and make it more difficult for patients to continue their medical therapy. We assist them in avoiding the crippling sensation of loneliness and give them the right support to follow their healthcare provider’s recommendation for exercise programs. So, patients feel much more confident stepping out of the house or performing their tasks when they have a caregiver nearby.
